Update

I updated a few projects with links to the pattern websites that I used.  I'm still looking for the others when I get a chance.

Baby Bubble Blanket - Beginner Level Pattern

I was working on an amigurumi that my youngest daughter requested a long time ago.  I realized that I had run out of the size eyes I need.  While waiting for them to arrive, I began a baby blanket for my new granddaughter who is doing her darnedest to come early.  She is not due until September, but mama is already at 5 cm.  She is on medication to hold the baby off for at least 2 more weeks.   This was an easy pattern to do while I had my grandsons.

Stitch from Lilo and Stitch

One of these days I'll have a better way of doing photography on these guys.

My eldest daughter requested Stitch for a friend's birthday.  I can't share this pattern, because I purchased it.

Mini-Moose

Mini-moose from Invader Zim.  My daughter requested two of these for herself and her friend.

Wolverine

This one didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, but my grandson had been asking for a while.  He was totally thrilled with it and wouldn't let go of it for his entire visit.

Lady bug

My eldest daughter's friend had a baby girl after several boys.  She did a lady bug theme for her room.  My daughter asked me to make a lady bug as a present.

Lion-o

A very good online friend wanted me to try my hand at making Lion-o from Thundercats.  I will tweak this pattern if I ever make it again.  It was planned as a "one-of-a-kind" type of thing, but the friendship fell apart, so I may make him again if I get bored.

Maromi from Paranoia Agent

One of my favorite animes is Paranoia Agent.  It definitely messes with your head.  The creepiest character is Maromi.  She is also the cutest.  Finding a pattern for her was very hard, but I found this one.  I'm not fond of the way she came out, and I already have plans to tweak the pattern on the next version.

Gir

My kids and eldest grandson love Invader Zim.  I found a pattern for Gir in his dog suit.  This pattern was difficult.  I probably should've waited until I was more experienced with amigurumi to try it.  My grandson came for a visit, saw Gir and wanted him.  I had to rush and make a cupcake while he waited.  Unfortunately, the cupcake came out badly.  I used the first pattern I found which was fine.  The yarn, however, wasn't the right kind, so the cupcake is very rough looking and feeling.

"I miss you, cupcake!"

"To make room for the cupcake!"

Atashi from Chobits

I like the anime Chobits, so I made Atashi.   A friend saw it, loved it, so it became her present.  I need to make another one at some point.

Calcifer (Howl's Moving Castle)

My youngest daughter loves Studio Ghibli and Howl's Moving Castle.  My second amigurumi attempt was Calcifer:

Boru-chan

My first amigurumi attempt: a round ball with eyes and a mouth.

My youngest son suggested using "hairy" yarn.  I added the eyes from the craft store.  This became very popular among my kids and their friends.

Pattern for the ball is here.  Btw, there are some freaking adorable amigurumi on that website.

Baby Blanket with Picot Edging

The blanket pattern I used is listed at Michael's website.   The picot edging I did is this video.

Baby blanket I made when my daughter became pregnant with her second son.

Rainbow Baby Blanket

After years of not sewing or crocheting I again picked up my hook.   My first project was to use up all the old rainbow colored yarn I had for years.  I had just enough to make a very bright baby blanket.

The afghan pattern is here.  You have to register to access it.  I did a reverse single chain edging.

My mom wanted a warm afghan for winters on the couch.  I made one using a basket weave stitch.

Close-up of the stitches on the poncho.  I used a very curly black yarn that was a total pain to work with.  However, it was very soft.

Mom also wanted a poncho.

People have been asking me to put up what I make so they can see it.    I will attach the pattern links if I can, but I no longer have some of them.

Some of the patterns have licensing agreements, so I can't sell what I make.  However, I can be commissioned to make an item if someone would like them and can't make it themselves.
