Jack Skellington Hat

My daughter loves Tim Burton.  This hat is from one of her favorite movies.  I worked up a basic beanie hat, used the same pattern to do the eyes, then guesstimated the nose and mouth.  She loves it, so I guess it works.

Streamline Sweater

I have to say, without a doubt, that this "easy" sweater pattern from Lion Brand's website was a pain in the butt for me.  I don't normally make wearables, but my daughter really wanted this sweater.  You can do a search on their website for "Streamline Sweater" for the pattern.

Wristers

My daughter picked out bulky yarn to go with a specific pattern she wanted me to make her.  Unfortunately, the yarn was too bulky and wouldn't work right.  So, I whipped up a pair of wristers from the Lion's Brand website using half-double crochet.

Megaman / Rockman

My middle son joined the Marines about a year ago.  6 months ago, he left for boot camp.  He was given a shot but not told what it was for.  It was a "peanut butter shot" which supposedly wrecks a recruit's immune system.  His immune system became compromised, he became sick, then sicker until he had to be admitted to the hospital unit. A long battle back to health was started.  3 months after entering boot camp, he rejoined a platoon to continue his training.

Stitch - Super-sized

This is, without a doubt, the largest and more difficult one I've done.  I lost track of how many times I had to rip out stitches and redo them.  I guess that's what you get working with a translated pattern... and being distracted by other people.  :)

Hobbes

My youngest son requested Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes.  It took a long time to finish because of various family matters that came up.  He's very happy with it.  :)

Atashi V2.0

My daughter wanted me to make another Atashi for her baby's room.  I did, but I changed a few things.  I made the ears longer, so they help her stand upright and found a star bead which I sewed her hands to.  It seems to work better than the origami star.

Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take a picture before I wrapped it for the baby shower.  /headdesk
